NEW TO RETRIEVER SPORTS!? That's OK!

Evaluations and introduction to field basics at 10am.

We will start at 10am and train .... UNTIL .....

*Weather pending*

First official birds (Guns up / dog to the line) by 11am.

Cost is $30 per person for 2 dogs. Each additional dog is $10

All retriever breeds welcome.

If you are willing to help throw birds, load wingers, transport dogs etc ... that would be helpful to make the day run smoothly but not necessary. Don't know how to do those things!? THAT'S OK; We can teach you!

Safety first and foremost.

  1. All participants must have a current (within 1 year) liability and canine vet form on file. *** Please note this form MUST be completed from a PC or laptop. It will not work using your phone.

  2. When not working your dog, please be sure your dog is safely crated in your vehicle, has water / fan etc.

  3. If your dog is not acclimated to gunfire it is extra important to be sure they have a fitted collar with ID tag.

  4. Depending on the weather and your dog's abilities we may do water work in our small pond. Please bring towels for your dog.

  5. If your dog is not reliable off leash, please bring a 30 - 50 foot light weight long line.

  6. A dog training whistle is highly recommended.

  7. you may use whatever training equipment you typically use with your dog. If we feel something different could be helpful we have all sorts of collars and leads to offer for borrowing.
