About Our Puppies:

We strive to produce top quality pure-bred dogs from accomplished, well pedigreed, health tested sires and dams.

We breed a very limited number of litters each year and usually maintain a waitlist.

Pups raised in our home w/every attention to detail. From ENS & ESI beginning on day 3, puppies are handled and interacted with daily. Litters are all exposed to a variety of environmentals & will be introduced to age & developmental appropriate stimulus & challenges. Exposure to live birds, gunfire, and swimming are typical social offerings for BlackFoot puppies.

About The Dams:

RAGLAN came to BlackFoot as a 1 year old with minimum training. Her hunt test progression was a little "interrupted" over the past few years by family and life obligations but she is a smart girl who earned her SH title even with a few extended breaks for training. Raglan is our class clown. A very playful, biddable and sensitive dog but balanced with a "fire" for work. She loves other dogs and all people. Raglan produces great looking puppies very similar in temperament to her own. Her offspring are wonderful active family companions who excel at: Agility, detection, SAR, hunt tests, and are impressive athletes participating in events like Fast-Cat, dock diving, and Canicross.

FURIOSA was bred in partnership with our friends at Sycamore Kennels and is owned / loved trained and handled by Cayla Kankash. Both her sire & dam are BlackFoot bred and are highly accomplished field guide dogs who are titled HRCH and MH. Furi is packs a lot of speed and brains into a small package. This "pocket rocket" girl is full sibling to:

Furi's impressive agility career is a testament to her athleticism, intelligence, and trainability. We are honored to have this opportunity to pair Furi with such an exceptional stud dog and are thrilled to have the opportunity to help plan and raise this litter.

OAKLEY is a new addition to us as of 2025, having joined the BlackFoot family at over 2 years of age, purchased with the intention of becoming part of our breeding program, but she is so much more than just a breeding female. Oakley had no formal training (pretty much not beyond learning the word "sit") and had never seen a real bird before joining us ....and wow .... her instinct and pedigree has shined through in more than one way; she LOVES to retrieve, she LOVES to work on real birds, she is soft mouthed and highly trainable. Her Dam is a family companion and hunting partner with from a proven line of British / U.K dogs. Her sire's side is built from well known and accomplished American field trial and hunt test linage. We will continue to train her (safely) during her pregnancy and plan to pursue hunt test titles with her after this litter. Oakley is a small dog of only about 55 lbs with a LOT of muscle and thick in bone structure. She is beautifully balanced in terms of her leg height for her size and is a powerful mover and swimmer. Sweet sweet sweet in nature, we can not speak highly enough about her attitude and overall temperament. Dog, Cat, and People friendly to the core.
